Jossu
I´m Johanna Kulmala, 28 years old poodle owner and breeder from Naantali, Finland. I have been poodle owner since summer 1995, when I finally got my parents to understand that I need a dog of my own. There were first couple of other dogbreeds than poodle that we considered: Chinese crested and chihuahua, but then we realized that poodle it is: wise, beautiful, full of joy and energy and in addition there is four diffrent poodle sizes to choose: toy, dwarf, miniature and standard. We ended up to have dwarfpoodle, apricot male Backseat Driver`s Speedy Conzales, "Speedy" from Marleena Nummi, Kennel Backseat Driver`s. Speedy was very special dog for me, we trained agility and obidience just for our own fun, we never competed. However, I competed in dogshows with Speedy right from puppyclass. At the age of two years Speedy became Fin CH, and I was, of course, very happy and proud about it. When Speedy was almost three years old, suggested Miss Sanna Koponen from kennel Trucker`s that I should take Trucker`s Al Pacino "Tarmo", who was then 6 months old very promising showdog puppy, to my family. We thought Sanna`s suggestion over a night with my family, and next day I called Sanna, that Tarmo would be very much welcome to our family. After a week Tarmo moved to me and his showdogcareer started. Tarmo became Fin & S & Est CH. When Tarmo was two years, old "Miss Trucker`s" Sanna Koponen, as I use to call her, asked if I`d be interested to have red dwarfpoodle male puppy of show quality with her from Norway. We would co-own that boy, but he`d live in my family. It took 6 months after that, and 4 months old Eugenios Uno The Only Solitaire " Uuno" moved to me. Uuno did also great in dogshows, he became Fin CH and Nordic Winner 2001. Uuno has also done very good offspring, too. I had then some quiet years with my poodle hobby, because I studied business and administration and trained and competed in boxing. I had to put my boxing gloves to stand because of my knee and wrist problems. That was time for me to turn back to my poodle hobby. In Autumn 2006 I started to think another poodle, as I had then only Uuno living with me. Speedy slept to his eternal sleep in summer 2004 because of epilepsy and heart disease. Tarmo is living with my friends mother, enjoying his retirement days as a number one of family. Christmastime 2006 Trucker`s Xtra Dynamite "Tyyne" was 8 weeks old when I took her my home. Tyyne is apricot dwarfpoodle female and I own her together with Sanna, as well as Uuno. It took only a mont after Tyyne´s joining to my family, when Tyyne`s 6 months older cousin Trucker`s Wicked Bitch "Bali" joined also to this poodlefamily. Bali`s former owner had some big changes in her life, so she couldn´t keep Bali. So, Bali got her new family and owner: Family: Jossu, Uuno and Tyyne. First Flash Dancer`s litter came in to the world on 18.5.2008. That is a litter which was not planed at all. I was very shocked at first, when I realized that Bali is going to have puppies. Uuno and Bali must have been very innovative, because they have managed to mate through the fence, that I had between my two rooms, when Bali had her heat. Well, I have to note, that I really learned something about this mistake. I decided to keep a female from this litter, because this was Uuno´s last litter before his castration. So, through this fate, Flash Dancer`s Athene " Ulpu" is going to continue my poodle hobby in many ways.
